*24-31 July: The National Secretary Coordinator of Biblical Apostolate facilitated a biblical retreat on St. Paul and the Word of God for brothers of Christian Schools from Bobo-Dioulasso province.
During evaluation, the brothers really appreciated the exercise.
*25-30 August: The 11th National Biblical Formation Session brought together about 60 participants from four dioceses of Mali.
The Session was based on the achievements of the Pauline Year with the aim of deepening the commitment of Christians in the Christian communities. The second theme of the Session was on the biblical preparation from the 2nd African Synod presenting the Word of God as a source of Justice, Reconciliation, Truth and Peace.
The official opening ceremony was presided over by His Excellency Bishop Geoges FONGHORO while the closing Mass of the Session was presided over by the Chancellor, Vicar General of Mopti diocese, Fr. Jean SOMBORO.
A Biblical Training took place at “Secrétariat National de l’Apostolat Biblique de la Conférence Episcopale du Mali” from 14th to 19th April.
It was under the theme “Saint Paul, a model of Christian Apostle.” In order to profit from the year of St. Paul, the trainers continued to read the book the Acts of the Apostles and the Letters of St Paul.
The Biblical Apostolate Secretariat of the Episcopal Conference of Mali which is a member and animator of the administrative board of the Bible Society in Mali, and animator of the office, conducted in the month of May (the Bible month) programmes on the National Television, biblical formation meetings on the importance of the word of God in the life of a Christian as well as on St. Paul.
