The Office of the Biblical Apostolate at the national Catholic Secretariat and the Divine Word Missionary in collaboration with The Biblical Centre for Africa and Madagascar (BICAM)  organized a Bible Seminar on St. Paul to mark the Pauline Year.

It was under the theme “Life and teaching of St. Paul.” There were 35 participants made up of priests, religious men and women and the laity from 12 dioceses.

The Director of BICAM delivered an introductory speech on St Paul. In his speech, he said the life and teaching of St Paul should be enough for Christians today to live a life worthy of emulation despite the challenges.

He emphasized that St Paul devoted the rest of his life in serving the Lord by promoting the Good News. In doing so, he had to go through so many tribulations but did not give up.

The Director therefore urged all participants to use St Paul as a role model to promote the Good News despite the difficulties they may face in life.

The seminar ended with a closing mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Dominic Baffour-Akowuah, The National Coordinator of the Biblical Apostolate in Ghana.
