* 1-8 September 2009 – Kenema, Sierra Leone: The third Biblical and Catechetical Workshop under the theme “Biblical Apostolate through Catechesis” was held. 57 participants from 5 countries of Anglophone West Africa namely Nigeria, Ghana, Liberia, The Gambia and Sierra Leone attended the said workshop.

The workshop was facilitated by Rev. Fr. Philippe GREBALET from CAR who represented the Director of BICAM.

The Bishop Chairman, Most Rev. Patrick Daniel Koroma celebrated the opening mass and was also present during the closing ceremony. Four papers were delivered during the workshop and these were followed by discussions, group workshop, and sharing.

At the end, the participants came up with a final statement for practical implementation in their respective countries during their biblical and catechetical ministry. The final statement is available and can be downloaded .
