On January 3rd, members of the Gospel Group and the “Mission de la Famille COR UNUM” from Mali and Guinea met together at Ségou to encourage each other in their Pastoral activities which centred on sharing the Word of God and the In-culturation of the Gospel in socio-cultural realities. A talk on the document “St. Paul Apostle of the nations” was delivered. The group was invited to work on the document in favour of their friends and servants of the Word for their Biblical Formation. There were ten Priests and Laities, Animators from the Gospel Groups and the “Mission de la Famille COR UNUM.” Their leader for the Training is the Secretary of the Biblical Apostolate, permanent member of “Famille COR UNUM”.

January 11, a Biblical Training Session for catechists pursuing catechism method “Bible in hand” in the March 3, Biblical Training Session for Pastoral Agents of Ségou diocese (the Bishop, Priests, Religious Women, Novices and Postulants) was held at Ségou under the theme “Saint Paul, Apostle of the Nations” with the aim of encouraging them to imitate Saint Paul in their Pastoral activities. The encouragements by the Bishop and the Trainer were aimed at stimulating each Priest, Religious, Man and Woman, Novice and Postulant to promote Biblical Pastoral Activities in the Parishes of Ségou diocese in accordance with the proposals by the Synod of Bishops on “the Word of God in the life and mission of the Church”.
